What About the Risk Here ? Posted: 08-17-07 10:37am
that I live in apartment with another man
( I know he has some unprotected
encounters ) I was confused that ,just
before writing this question I took shower
and I afraid I may accidentally left my
tooth brush and use his tooth bruth also
the colours are different , what ever , I
think the time between him and me to take
shower about 25 mintues . and of course
his tooth brush washed by him after his
shower coz that as I remmeber .
My questions here ? If I wrongly used his
tooth brush :
1- Is that risky ?
2- What maximim tirme That HIV lived out
side the human body ? ( of course water
applied to his tooth after finished as
usuall , no obvious blood as I remmeber) ,
Is that will kill or help to reduce HIV if
present ?
Again thanx , for your comments and
replies .

HIV does not live long outside of the
body.
HIV is not transmitted through saliva. So
using someone else's toothbrush does not
really pose much of a threat.
