I'm sorry they didn't react like you had hoped. I hope you have a happy pregnancy and you get tons of sonograms Wink

lol, your grandmother's reaction was my grandfather's reaction to finn. he was appalled that nick and i were living in sin, and then that had to go and happen.

I just have to laugh at the whole 'living in sin'!! That was my family to a T. Everyone was there to cast stones, but I moved in with him because I had to, not because I wanted to (well, I wanted to). But, I didn't hear any of them offer me somewhere to live...out of sin? Anyways, I could not tell you how many FAMILY members asked me if I was pregnant AT my wedding. Evidentally, that would be the only reason we would get married. Rolling Eyes Not the fact that we had been engaged for over 2 years....nope....I had to be pregnant.

I'm sorry that your family wasn't more supportive. Do you think his family will take it any better?

Lol, Danielle! They HAVE to respect that fact that you're married, living in your own house, and have raised 2 beautiful children so far, ya know?

My family was shocked when I told them about my new bambino! But they realized, the younger the mother, the better. Get it all over with YOUNG, ya know? (no offence to any older mommies!)

I can't wait to see the first u/s pic!!!

Don't you just love families? Rolling Eyes My family was pretty much the same when they found out I was pregnant with Alex. That's why I didn't even tell half of them, I let my mom do it.

Anyway, I think it's great. What are you hoping for this time? Either way it will be adorable just like Macy and Liam.

My parents sorta reacted the same way, well with joseph my mom goes are you $hi**ing me? I was like well maybe 5 tests were wrong haha. I was nervous the 2nd time around, but i told my mom the same day i took the test, i went to pick her up from work and went up to her register and was like josephs getting a new brother or sister, she was excited, when my dad finally found out he just sorta rolled his eyes. But eh they couldnt say to much, i was moving out anyways.
Parents are wonderful! hehe

This is so true. My midwife told me the ideal age for a woman to give birth is 20, because younger women get over everything quicker. Sadly there's far too much social pressure on women when it comes to having babies.

I'm really happy for you Dani, & I can't wait to see pics of the new little one!

Ah I love u guys Smile I told my inlaws today and of course they were like what you dont know what the hell birth control is? r u crazy? can u even afford another kid? n of course my brother in law said " y dont u just get an abortion?" AH i hate these ppl Rolling Eyes my mother in law hasnt really talked to me since i told them a few hours ago. With macy she got me two ultrasounds cuz she worked at the hospital and had been for like 10 yrs. this place is a new job so Im hoping she gets me in to an ultrasound at like 16 weeks to find out what this lil booger is. But that requires her talking to me. I think its a girl and hope it is since this is the way i felt with macy. queasy all day and poopin all the time.

Wow they sound like a bunch of suckers.. I can't believe he would tell you that you should have an abortion. I probably would have punched him in the face.

Well my mom told me that "there were other options than having a baby"...so I guess it's almost as bad as what his reaction was to you. My family has been totally unsupportive to say the least. My mom's already told me that she's not going to be called grandma, and that she's not being in the room with me when I deliver. Sad They aren't even throwing me a baby shower. I swear, I hear "I don't think you realize how hard it is to have a kid...you can't just throw them in a closet and be on your way" at least once a week. For pete's sake, I'm almost 21...I think I'm a little wiser than that, but my family obviously doesn't think so. LOL, ok I'm done ranting. I hope you get a girl like you want, and lots of free ultrasounds!! Good luck.

good god this makes me mad, look at your children, theyre always well dressed and clean, i think your mother in law needs to keep her mouth shut. of course you're young, but you're married and have income and you are doing well with 2 beautiful children already, i agree with sam, i would have punched him in the face.

& fairytale, I'm sorry about your mother, that's why i think it'd be amazing to have more places where people could go if they're being kicked out for being pregnant, I'd let you come live with me Razz
