Things Do Get Missed? Posted: 08-18-07 13:36pm
Hey everyone, sometimes they send you for
all kinds of tests and things DO get
missed. Take it from someone who knoes.
but anyway ,my jaw was Totally missed, and
it was SEVERELY DISLOCATED. and the fact
that my jaw popped out SIDEWAYS...... it
was missed by about 8 different doctors,
even a tmj specialist. the sideways
dislocation did not pick up on the xrays,
and mri's. so keep that in mind. i know
other people this has happened to also. So
when they tell you all checks out Ok, and
you still have problems... be skeptical.
and NEVER buy into the " its all in your
head response" dont let them pull you into
that trap..... cindy

looking for it. for years they didnt know
that my teeth didnt touch. and i didnt
notice.

Yea? i know what you mean, and tmj pain
can be tricky. its really hard to decipher
it at times. they miss stuff, and the
tests miss stuff, then ususally you get
the line"its all in your head" cindy

most of it you have to look for and if you
arent looking for it (it does show up on
the tests) you dont see it.
