Cant Figure It Out Posted: 08-20-07 16:05pm
basically, i despise foods like tuna,
jalapeno pappers, tomatoes.....but the
past 6 weeks, that is all i crave. I had
my tubes tied and am thinking pregnancy
might be far fetched. Do women just go
through a taste change as they get older?
Im pushing 30 so could hormons just be a
little wiered??? Anyone??

Shes right it can happen but like you said
it's unlikely, the best thing you can do
is take a pregnancy test and see. Good
luck!

Food cravings during pregnancy indicate
the body is lacking certain minerals and
whatnot, so I assume similar cravings even
when not pregnant could indicate
malnutrition.
Go get a full checkup just to see what's
up

Well cravings for odd foods that you never
liked before, such as pickles, beets, etc,
indicate a lack of vitamins. The woman
simply eats what she needs without
thinking about it because our bodies are
cool like that.
Some women even get a desire to eat dirt
when pregnant! It seems gross, but it's
just due to a lack of minerals, and soil
can supply that. Or, get a protein shake!
