My partner has been diagnosed with a
urinary tract infection. He has been
prescribed the antibotic Vibramycim. His
doctor has suggested that I get treated
to, even though I have no symptoms.
Is this necessary? Can urinary tract
infections be contagious?

Hi Adiie
It's best to be treated, especially if
your partner has been diagnosed, and you
are both sexually active with another.
Give the attached website a read, and then
hopefully, this will explain a bit more.
If you need further advise or info, just
post us again, and we'll do all we can to
help.
Good luck and take care

if your doctor has recommended to, i would
think thats the best option, if you are
still worried get another opinion of
another doctor. it wouldn't hurt to take
the meds anyway better be safe then sorry.
