I have not had anul sex until here recently. A few days afterwards I had a light flow of blood with some soreness. Six days later I still have some soreness and minimal spotting. Is this normal? I did use a condom.

That sounds pretty normal. More lube can reduce friction and lessen the risk of bleeding.
