Gallbladder Disease And Prgnancy Posted: 08-21-07 19:25pm
I have recently found out that I have
Gallbladder disease. They appera to be a
lot of them. I also found out that I am
pregnant. Since my case of Gallblader
Disease is kind of severe, will it be a
problem when I get bigger? Will it squish
my gallbladder and stones and cause
serious problems?

I was in a lot of pain during my
pregnancy, & come to find out 2 mos
after I gave birth, I had appendicitis
& gallbladder disease. I was 5 mos.
pregnant when I went to the hospital for
the abdominal cramping & gallstone
"attacks." They tried to see what was
wrong using an ultrasound, since they
couldn't use X-Ray since I was pregnant...
& couldn't figure out what was causing
me pain, they just had guesses. Which at
the time they didn't know were actually
right. Anyways though, my pregnancy was
just more uncomfortable than most. If it
at anytime risks your life though, they
may advise you have a medical abortion.
Oh, & I'm sure the dr's have already
gone through this, but stay away from
spicy, & fatty foods (especially fast
food). Those foods cause you to go into
the gallstone attacks, which really hurt!
