I live in Brazil and I buy Yasmin over the
counter. They don't sell the placebo
pills, so I just wait the seven days. I've
noticed my period doesnt start until like
the fifth or sixth day off the pill and it
only last 2 or 3 days. I was wondering if
I should use an alternate method during
those five or six days. Should I take the
pills four weeks and then one week off?

It does not matter when your period starts
in the 'pill free' week, it could start on
the 6th day, or the 3rd day.
You should always start the next pack of
pills on the 7th day day though, even if
you just started bleeding.

You should take the pill for three weeks
and then one week off... not four. But
don't be concerned if your period doesn't
come right away. You don't need extra
protection during that time.
