symptoms started when i was 24. bladder
problems with no sign of infection, legs
ached horribly then would go
away,headaches,and vision issues sharp
stabbing pain in eye and seeing spots and
some blurred vision, i would get
overheated in hot weather without water to
jump into too etc. Then it would go away
for quite awhile. Then next attack would
come on and new symptoms would appear.
Like muscle spasms numbness my feet would
start to fall asleep after running and
ache bad. then that would go away the a
year later something else would come up my
bowels started not working right and the
other symptoms ive had. 12 years later the
attacks seem to be getting worse with new
symptoms always and my body is so fatigued
i can barely walk up the stairs its a
different fatigue in that i used to be so
athletic that i cant even do the things i
loved to do anymore let alone peel myself
of the floor. my balance now is bad i dont
feel sure footed so not snowboarding
anymore, and my speech is bad cant find
words sometimes and i say things backwards
alot and i forget peoples names that i
done their hair for the past 23 years its
crazy. i have trouble swallowing and
chronic acid reflux which the docs cant
seem to reason why meds dont help with
anything. there is alot going wrong with
my body all over seems like something is
causing it to fail. my arms are going numb
now when i wake up in the morning dont
know if im laying on them funny or what
but doesnt seem like they should be doing
that every morning. i had this incredible
pressure on my chest and stomach that
comes and goes, so im wondering if you
could have ms for years before you would
suspect it mabye????? also my writing and
spelling is failing. my cordination is
bad.Any suggestions????????my heart has
been tested. one mri to see if my
pituitary was okay checked out normal. did
some blood work for lupus.etc??????

It certainly sounds like you might want to
see a neurologist. I did have symptoms
for 10 years before I was diagnosed with
MS. It was only when I was in nursing
school that I actually put it all
together. And even then the Dr. did not
do the appropriate tests for MS. So I
went another 4 years with no explanation
of my symptoms. I developed Optic
Neuritis before I finally got the
diagnosis. I lost almost all of the
vision in my right eye. That is a
terrible way to find out. I have my
vision back now. But it took 9 months.
See a neurologist and get on treatment if
needed. If you need to get a referral,
see if you can get one from a general
practitioner. It is better to be
proactive when it comes to your health.
