Hello,

I will be 20 weeks pregnant next tuesday and I have still not felt the baby kicking. I felt my daughter at 20 weeks and have been told that second preganancy i should feel it about 2 weeks earlier??

I am showing earlier this time and Iam concerned that something is wrong.

I'm sure everything will be fine but for your own peice of mind i would contact your doctor.

You could be carrying more fluid for the reason why your showing more so. Or maybe your not as far along as you first thought.

Just a few ideas why you havnt felt the baby yet.

Hey, i was just thinking You should be due for another ultrasound by now!!!

Good luck

At 20 weeks, the movement I felt was still very subtle. I had to really be paying attention to feel it. Around 21 weeks, the kicks started getting more intense and after 23 weeks, I definitely notice. For some women, it can be normal, especially if the baby is facing toward your spine. Or do you know if you have an anterior placenta? That definitely affects when you feel movement. I'm sure you're fine, but if it's worrying you, definitely bring it up with your doctor.

But I do know at 20 weeks, I had my ultrasound, the baby was kicking during the ultrasound, and I didn't feel it at all.
