I was wondering...
I am on Nortrel 28 0.5/35. On day 2 of
the pack, when I popped the pill out, it
broke, but I put everything in my mouth.
I had unprotected sex with my bf about 5
days later. I have taken all of the pills
of the pack as I'm supposed to, but about
30 minutes after taking the very last
"active" pill (on Saturday evening), I
felt ill and threw up. I had had sex with
my bf the night before, but didn't have
unprotected sex at any point after I threw
up.
I was supposed get my period on
Wednesday/Thursday, but I haven't gotten
it yet, and I started my next pack this
evening, as I was advised to do. I have
been feeling crampy and generally feel all
the symptoms of my period, but just no
bleeding! Is it possible that I'm
pregnant? How soon can I take a pregnancy
test?
I have been on the pill for about 2 years
now, and changed to Nortrel about 6 months
ago.

If you've already missed your period, you
can go get a pregnancy test now.
It seems unlikely that you would be
pregnant because you can miss 1 pill and
still be protected, but since you threw it
up and couldn't take it later/it was the
last active one, I would test just to be
sure. You're right to be taking the pills
though.
