I Need Help, Could I Be Pregnant? Posted: 08-25-07 06:51am
okay ill start off by saying that i
started my last period on july 24.. sorry
for tmi but its always been about 4 days
long and extremely heavy with horrible
cramps. On august 16 i started bleeding
very lightly, like spotting, and then on
the next day it picked up to a steadier
flow, but no where near as heavy as my
period usually is and i had only very
slight cramping, this continued for about
3 days a little on and off sometimes
medium sometimes very light. ( my
boyfriend and I did have unprotected sex
multiple times for quite a while and are
trying for a child), i was expecting my
period again on august 25 but it has not
come. i started thinking i was pregnant
because of my extreme fatigue, constantly
tired all day long no matter how many naps
i take.. i have an extreme aversion to
foods and my sense of smell is outrageous,
i can not go into a grocery store or even
walk by a fridge.. the bleeding has
stopped but i have very light cramping..
ive also been experiencing some crying
bouts when i talk to my boyfriend and some
headaches at night time. occasionally i
have some nausea but it hasnt been bad
enough that ive needed to throw up.. i
dont however have any breast pain or
frequent need to urinate.. i took a test
yesterday but it came out negative (i also
waited about 15 minutes before i looked at
the results and i hear that they can fade
over time so im still confused) i know it
may be too early to get an accurate test,
and i would get a blood test but i am out
of the country right now.. what does it
sound like?

i wish i could help you, but i just have
to say i am in the EXACT same situation.
my periods give me HORRIBLE cramps, to the
point where i have to skip school and lay
in bed all day, clutching to painkillers
for support, but when i got it this
morning, the cramping was extremely light,
and i had just few spots of light blood.
(tmi i know).
i dont know what to expect. I had EPS and
was assuming i was pregnant, especially
since i was practically a week late. We'll
just have to wait and see, won't we?

it was dysmenorrhea... its far from
sypmtoms of pregnancy
