Long Island, New York!
We just got in about 2 hours ago.
I am SO exhausted.
We left for Chicago at about 1am..
Got to the airport at a little after
3am..
Gabe slept the entire carride, thank
god..
We stood in line forever, checked our
baggage,
got to the gate, waited for about an
hour,
fed Gabe, played with Gabe..
Then we boarded the plane around 6:30am,
our flight took off at 6:50, & we
landed here
just a little before 10am. Gabe slept
through
the takeoff & the landing! His ears
popping
didn't even bother him one bit.
Excellent.
So now I'm just relaxing at my Bestie's
house.
Gabe & Chris are napping, & I
think I may join them.
I didn't sleep last night at all.
There's obviously internet at B's house,
so I'll be on here & there.

beautiful here!
I just took a nice nap. I may see if Chris
wants to take Gabe out in the backyard
& go swimming.. They have a GORGEOUS
back yard, with a greenhouse & flowers
everywhere & a pool! Wheee!

Thanks Laura!! I've started taking
pictures already.. It is seriously SO
beautiful here. I'll post some pictures
either in chunks as I take them, or all of
them all at once when I get home.. But
either way, there will be MANY pictures.
& Suzy, we don't have too many plans
yet. We're going to the beach tomorrow.
Probably going to Montauk on Wednesday or
Thursday.. Then we're going into the City
on Friday morning, & Brittney got us a
hotel suite for the night at the Holiday
in between Times Square & Central
Park.. It has a pool.. ON THE ROOF.
I am so in heaven.

I live in Stony Brook (I'm a student
there). I'm actually still upstate for the
next few days at my parent's house - I'll
be back on the Island Sept 2. Speonk is 45
mins away on the South Shore - I'm on the
North Shore. I've never been to Montauk!
Have a great time there and in the city!
