It Has Been Only 2 Weeks Since It Happened Posted: 08-28-07 02:22am
It has only been two weeks since it
happened, but I am already showing early
signs of pregnancy. I have been getting
morning sickness, and my breasts have
become really tender. I don't know what to
do, and how to break it to my parents.
When do you think I should take a test? Or
is it to soon to know.

do you mean it was two weeks since you had
intercourse? if so and you've missed your
period you can take a test now if it's
negative and you still don't get your
period take another one.
If it's positive the first thing you need
to think about is what YOU want and no one
else if you decide to keep the baby,
telling your parent's maybe difficult,
they will probably be angry at first as
they care about you, write them a note or
just ask if you can have a quiet chat,
remember you don't have to tell them the
day you find out you're pregnant, you are
allowed time to think, if you need someone
to talk to PM me

it is too early to be having signs of
pregnancy. you've probably come down with
something if your sick. but if you think
you're pregnant wait until your next
period is due then take a test. dont freak
out until you know you are pregnant

But I am not getting sick cause I know
when I am. It is weird, my breasts have
never been tender before, and I am getting
major cramps and back aches. I am also
having dizzy spells, and I have fainted a
few times already.

its TOO EARLy to be feeling symptoms so
the things you are feeling are not because
you are pregnant

I think you are very sick and need to go
to a doctor asap. It is not healthy to
faint, that is a serious condition.
Your other symptoms sound like PMS. You
cannot feel pregnancy
symptoms this soon. So that means you're
having severe PMS with additional
fainting. I'd be scared out of my mind and
sitting in the emergency room right now
waiting to be seen by a doctor.
As for testing, you need to wait until
your period to test.

Well, if you are pregnant, you can feel
symptoms 2 weeks later (some women do,
it's not terribly common, but some women
have symptoms then, this is when you'd be
considered 4 weeks pregnant and have
missed your period). Of course,
intercourse would have to have been timed
correctly around the time of month that
you ovulated (very small odds that you
would ovulate while on your period or
immediately after your period ends, for
example).
If you're late on your period, you can
take a test. Did you have unprotected sex
or use some form of birth control like
condoms or the pill? If you used birth
control correctly, odds are you are not
pregnant.
Of course, PMS symptoms can also mimic
early pregnancy symptoms and thinking you
may be pregnant can cause you to start
noticing symptoms everywhere. I would
also get symptoms with my cycle every
month around ovulation, including nausea
(so bad I would throw up) and very sore
breasts.
I hardly had any symptoms when I found out
I was pregnant (2 weeks after I
conceived). All I had was a late period
and period-like cramping.

This is way too early for symptoms. What
you are describing could be pms also,
since they are veyr similar to pregnancy
symptoms.
When your period is late, take a pregnancy
test. Until then, use condoms.
