My husband was recently diagnosed with
Mono, he is 34 years old, and I am 32. My
last boyfriend before my husband also got
diagnosed with Mono, he was 28 at the
time. I have had symptoms of Mono on and
off for many years, but I've been tested a
couple of times, and it always comes back
negative.
After doing some research online, I'm
starting to think that I may be a carrier
of this virus. Perhaps I have
Epstein-Barr, and have not yet been
diagnosed. It seems too coincidental that
in the last two of my adult relationships,
the men tested positive for Mono. And
with my history of symptoms. I often get
swollen lymph nodes in my neck, with sore
throat, and I am often very fatigued,
especially during these episodes.
We were on our honeymoon when he started
showing symptoms.

And only days
before that I was't feeling well and my
glands got a little enflamed. Perhaps I
only transmit the virus if I have a bit of
a flare up or something? Do people who
are carriers test negative for Mono?
Any input or information you can share
with me will be greatly appreciated!
Cheers.
