think this is a UTI or an early symptom of
pregnancy? This is really scaring me I
have had UTI's before but my sister said
that I could also be pregnant. I don't

Is there any other reason to think you're
pregnant?
Yes, it is a symptom of a uti.

No there is no reason. I take my birth
control everyday at the same time. I think
my sister was trying to scare me. She said
I could still get pregnant on birth
control.

You can. It's just rare. It sounds like
you've been taking it right, so you're not
pregnant. Secondly, increased urination
does not happen until late in pregnancy,
when the fetus and uterus are large and
begin pressing on the bladder. Many women
think that constant urination is an early
sign of pregnancy and it's just not! By
the time a woman has to start racing to
the bathroom, she's been pregnant for a
while and already knows for sure

Once you get a uti you're really likely to
get them again . I'd suggest
making sure you go pee after you have sex,
that helps me a lot. It clears out the
urethra in case anything (bacteria) got
shoved up there during sex.
Yes, you can get pregnant on birth
control. But it's really unlikely
especially when you take your pills
correctly and aren't taking medication
that interferes with them. It sounds like
a UTI to me.

Thanks. I've been drinking tons of water
and cranberry juice as well as taking
cranberry pills. So far it's beginning to
feel a little better. I just hate this
makes me feel.
