Disney Books!
Posted: 08-28-07 16:14pm

Are soo awesome, the ones that have the stories with the disney characters. I love em. I bought 3 today, they have alot now then back when my neice was younger. My plan is to buy them all eventually. But now i think im going to buy them books for christmas, since they dont have a whole lot. Joseph loves me reading to him. I read one story before bed and shut the book. he opened it back up lol. So i read him 2 stories. I got the red one, the purple one and the pink one. THey have like at least 5 more a the store but they are like 18 bucks. A lil cheaper then some places since we get alittle discount at the px off of books Smile. Im just happy hehe. Then i got another one of those kid seats that straps to the chair for jordynne, i was going to move the highchair downstairs but then i was talking to jason online wich i was glad to do since on th e news they said 2 americans got killed in afghanistan but wouldnt release any information so i was a little nervewracked.
Sorry for offtopic lol but also at the post office a girl put up a sign trying to get moms together to do stuff, so i took her number and called her up. I might stop by tomorow after my dr apt to go meet her, she lives where my other "friend" lives. she has a 4 yr old 2 yr old and 1 yr old. So that is awesome. And labor day someones coming to pick the dog up Smile.

Wow, it sounds like you had a great day. I love those Disney books too! My mom always gets her grandkids books for everything so I know that I am going to have a steady stream of books coming in Smile

Glad to hear that Jason is okay. How long will he be over there? I know that you have told everyone but I can't remember very well.

I think when i talk to my mom and jasons mom im telling them to send the kids books for christmas. i want to get a booksheld and half it filled with childrens books and as they get older give the babie books to local clinis or something for the waiting room.

That's a good idea about giving them to the clinic. My mom still has the books that she read to us and now she reads them to her grandchildren. She has a library though so it is easier for her because they aren't taking up too much space. Besides, she has over 2,000 books so I think that's enough.

wow thats alot of books, i love books, i bought the chicken soup for the new moms soul today and read the entire thing! i have lots of inspirational books and medical type books, not a whole lotta kid books, i prob got about 10, the clinic here used to have books and toys but then they got rid of it so that kinda sucks. but i packed a disney one in the diaper bag, i got a new better diaper bag today hehe, joseph poured formula in all my others and its like sticky mess in them. SO if we are in the waiting room i can take it out and read to hime and stuff. Theres a good book i bought its called . its kind of a funny story. about a teen that goes through a deep depression and suicidal thoughts and goes into a mental hospital etc i read it in about 3 days hehe. I jsut started reading ot joseph recently since he actually wil sit and go through an entire story now!

That's great that he will sit for you. Growing up we always had family reading time. Reading was a big deal with my mom. I have read most of the great classics. I am not really a fan of a lot of the stuff that is out there today. I have found a few good ones though Smile I usually manage to read those fairly quickly.

yeah, i never seemed to have time to read but lately ive been trying to read more, i love inspirational stuff the most though. Im a bad mom i didnt read to joseph much before. i tried but he was all over the place and wouldnt sit down so then i gave up unless he brought me a book to read and id read it until he ran off. But now his attention span seems a bit longer Smile But these books are staying safe, i dotn want him ripping them up or the dog getting a hold of one. I actually only paid $14.39 for them wich isnt bad at all i was thinking they were like 20 bucks each, i might buy the rest tomorow! depending on how much money i have left i gotta go through my checkbook and subtract all my stuff hehe before i leave the house, cuz ill prob stop by the px after my dr appt if i got enough for the others Smile I gotta pay for a dvd on ebay for my husband some weird vietnam movie, and degrassi season 4!, now i need to eventually get seasons 3 and 5 and im all set Smile. I still ask my husband if ican order season dvds haha. they aer only like 20 bucks on ebay though.

yeah for the dog getting a new family! I dont know what books your talking about but there is a disney book club like the movie club i was thinking about joining but my daughter likes to color in books so i think ill wait a bit. My friend jennys husband is in the army and she was telling me how when he was on deployment a few years ago his unit got bombed and the news told her b4 ne thing else. luckily he was ok but some ppl died. i dont think the media should b aloud to release anything until familes are contacted, there are certain things that are just private.
