Can I catch BF's red rash around the penis where the hair is
Posted: 08-28-07 18:04pm

so i'm going to ask here..

he has like a red rash around his penis..like where the hair is.. it looks more like dry skin..or something but its on the penis itself too.
he's always scratching it and everything.. im just worried it's something i could catch.

any ideas what it might be?

I tell you what, if he were my boyfreind, he would do without until he could tell me what he had and it could be cured............if that means he goes somewhere else to get it, good ridance.. I would not put myself at risk. So it may be something minor, still....... it can't be that attractive to look at let alone worry about you catching something. Give him the ultimatum....go the doctor or forget about having sex with you......thats just what I'd do..............

Still, it looks like if he honestly cared for you, he'd want to look his best for you and a crusty, flacky reddish itchy dong is not ATTRACTIVE......Have you told him its a turn off? I think I 'd gross out......

dont take the chance in case it IS something and you just havent caught it yet
if he wont go then make him understand you wont go near it because you dont want to catch anything!

It sounds like it could be jock itch. It can be cured with over the counter anti-fungal medications like tinactin or possibly even a yeast infection cream like monistat. If that doesn't work I would get him to the doctor.

It usually happens when a person doesn't dry the area properly and things like to grow in warm dark places. A cream should help.
