Sharp pain in testicles accompanied with chest pain in heart Posted: 08-29-07 14:17pm
[filled out personal data according to
him]
My boyfriend, now 20, has been
experiencing a sharp pain in his testicles
accompanied with chest pain by his heart
that lasts maybe 10-15 minutes. There is
no swelling, no discharge from his penis,
no lumps. After his pain he feels as
though nothing happened. It happens
between periods of several months or years
and has happened ever since the age of 12
or 13. He has been to a doctor once, maybe
3 years ago or so, and he said it was
normal, that nothing was wrong...something
to do with growth, yet at 20 shouldn't
growth largely be over with?. It concerns
both of us and is unclear of what is
causing the pain.
I have researched a bit to see if he would
have any conditions and found epididymitis
and torsion...but he does not have any
swelling or chills or pain while urinating
or ejacualting. We both have no idea what
it could be. The chest pain strikes me as
odd. Thank you for any reply or
information.

It doesn’t seem likely to me that pain
in the testicles and chest pain are
connected. Epididymitis is a painful
condition, but the pain is present all the
time and there is also swelling and
increased local temperature. Testicle
torsion is a serious condition and the
pain in such case would be unbearable.
In the end, tour boyfriend needs to be
examined by an urologist about the pain in
the testicles and his chest pain can be
explored with a physical examination
(auscultation), X-ray image and ECG.
