Very Scared - Symptoms Gone
Posted: 08-30-07 12:54pm

Hi, I'm about 5 weeks pregnant (my first time) and I woke up this morning and all my symptoms were gone besides a slight touch of an uneasy stomach/light lower abdominal cramping. Prior to this I have had swollen tender breasts, darkened nipples, exhaustion, and frequent urination. I even lost a pound. I have not had a drop of spotting though. Does anyone have any simliar situations (with hopefully postive outcomes but I want to hear any input regardless).

Thanks,
Danielle

First, let me warn you...do NOT google "loss of pregnancy symptoms"!!! It will scare the BeJesus out of you for no reason.

As long as you're not cramping or bleeding you're fine. It happens.

With my first pregnancy, I paniced about every little thing and came to the conclusion that me stressing will do more harm.

If you're THAT concerned, give your Dr. a call. I'm sure he'lls ay the same things.

I hope I could help a lil...I KNOW it's hard not to stress!! But you've got to try!!

Wink

Symptoms have nothing to do with the outcome of a pregnancy, not to mention, you're very early yet to be experiencing many symptoms anyway. Many women do not even get morning sickness until they are 6-8 weeks along.

I had very little in the way of symptoms early on. All I had was a late period and period-like cramping with occasional pink/brown spotting (mostly when I wiped and it was off & on throughout the first trimester for me). The period-like cramping would come & go. I didn't even worry about the spotting because it was so light and it usually only lasted a day and then would go away for a week or so before coming back.

I never had morning sickness. I only got sore breasts around 9 weeks and then it just lasted for a week. Fatigue did come on from 7-15 weeks, but it was in no way crippling fatigue either; I was just more tired than normal for me. From what I understand, it's common for early pregnancy symptoms to come & go.

I'm 25 weeks now and so far, all is going well with my pregnancy. My 20 week ultrasound showed everything was normal and perfect. I still have very little in the way of symptoms--now I feel her kick and my breasts started leaking colostrum, but other than that, I don't really have many complaints.

You could ask to have your HcG checked if you are worried. it's a hormone level.

I'm just over 7 weeks, and I don't feel too many symptoms at all either. I still have the tender boobs and queaziness and sever tiredness, but really I don't feel too much else either. I'd just give it a few weeks and maybe they'll kick in. Or maybe you'll get lucky and won't have too much of the symtoms. Smile

i lost all my symptoms all the sudden at 6-7 weeks and they never came back! but i am now 36 weeks. i freaked and went to the Dr though and they did an u/s and everything was fine. if you are real concerned call your Dr and go in even if it is just to put your mind at ease.
