I love how these women think that they are
the only ones who should be able to
decide. Like they are special.
Considering how they act I would find it
hard to treat them like any other woman.
They have given these doctors nothing but
grief by picketing and making there jobs
so much harder and yet these people are
still acting with profesionalism and
courtesy and showing these women that they
care about all women and there right to
choose.
I also love how even though these doctors
are treating them nicely and they are
getting the same care as all women they
are still telling everyone else they are
murders and that it should be illegal.
They are completly disregarding the fact
that without these clinics and there
rights they would be completly panicked
about where there life would be leading
with an unwanted pregnancy and child. I
wish they would realize that they are not
different from everyone else.

You guys are expressing the way I feel,
also, when I read these stories.
The ones tat anger me the most are the
ones where the people affected are still
anti-choice after the abortion.

in life there is always going to be people
who will not do what they predict. I'm
pro-life and I have never picketed at any
abortion clinic and I have never had any
abortions. I never have put myself into
the situation of having an unplanned
pregnancy. Never. I practiced abstinence
all the years I wasn't ready for
pregnancy. So just a reminder that this
examples doesn't speak for the majority.

there is going to be one hell of a
meltdown in their emotional future unless
they find a way to reconcile their actions
with their beliefs.

I feel bad to an extent because it shows
the utter lack of understanding that
anti-choice individuals have. All they
ever think is that a woman's life and
choice is inferior to that of a zef, that
is untill it happens to them. Then there
self centered attitude becomes quite
obvious when the make it known that THEY
are the only exception to the so called
rule they push onto other women.

I agree. I thinks it's (the pro-life
mindset) a combination of several factors:
1) A complete and utter inability to
empathize with someone else;
2) A distorted view of what abortion
entails, i.e. many think an actual baby or
tiny baby, thinking and feeling, gets
ripped to shreds in a bloody slaughter,
other than reality, which involves a tiny,
non-thinking, non-feeling embryo being
suctioned out with a woman's menstrual
blood;
3) A general contempt for sexually active
unmarried women;
4) A distorted view of other people's sex
lives, i.e. women who abort must be
promiscuous to be in the situation to
begin with, etc.;
5) Religious reasons;
6) etc.
DISCLAIMER:
I am not saying ALL prolifers fit the
above descriptions, or that anybody on
this board does. This is my own view of
many pro-lifer's I have met and interacted
with during my lifetime.
