Brown/pink Discharge? Help!

ok, i'm trying not to freak out here. i
just went to the bathroom and there was a
little bit of discharge in my underwear
that was tinged with browny-pink. then
there was a teensy-tiny bit more when i
wiped. i've been feeling a little crampy
these past couple days but i just thought
it was maybe because i've been a little
constipated.
advice? reassurance? anything?!
btw, i'm 9 weeks tomorrow.

The morning sickness you have been
experiencing is definitely a good sign.
Try not to read into the
discharge/spotting too much. It could
very well be normal for this pregnancy.
Having miscarried before, I understand
your concern, but try (as hard as it is)
to stay positive. I hope all turns out
ok.

my morning sickness is not reassuring for
me. i had it really bad with my first
pregnancy that i lost.
i'm trying not to freak out because i know
everyone says brown blood is ok (hey, i've
even told other people that!), but it's
hard to stay calm after having a previous
m/c.
i put a pantyliner on and i'm going to
keep an eye on things. it really was a
tiny tiny amount so i'm hoping it's
nothing.
pregnancy is too stressful for me.

I know exactly how you feel about it being
stressful. I lost one of my babies at 37
weeks into my pregnancy, so my subsequent
pregnancies were agonising. I was
terrified something would go wrong. Then
I miscarried a baby after an ultrasound
revealed very little amniotic fluid. 2
weeks later I lost that baby (9 weeks
pregnant at that time).
I know it's hard not to compare a current
pregnancy with a "failed" one, but each
pregnancy is different. The morning
sickness could be a good sign this time.
Try to take it easy today, keep your feet
up, drink plenty of fluids and relax as
much as possible (easier said than done
with a baby getting into everything)
Good luck. I'm hoping for the best for
you and your family.

Hopefully, it turns out to be nothing.
Did you have intercourse recently? That
can cause spotting.
I had pink/brown spotting off & on
throughout my first trimester to about 13
weeks. It was mostly when I wiped
(sometimes a couple drops on a
pantyliner), but just a tiny amount. It
always went away after a day and then
would come back a week or 2 later. I'm 25
weeks now and so far, everything is fine.
One of the times I spotted also
corresponded with a yeast infection coming
on, and I know sometimes pregnant women
will have a bit of spotting if they
develop a UTI as well. I don't know
exactly what caused my interminent
spotting, but I wanted to reassure you
that you can spot a little in the first
trimester and still have everything turn
out OK.

I hope everything is ok! I've heard of
women spotting around this time and it was
something about the beginning of the
placenta attaching or something. I would
call my doc to be sure and maybe they can
get you in for an ultrasound sooner.

I am sorry that you are having such a
difficult time with your pregnancy! This
happened to me with one of my pregnancy's
and with one I m/c. If things get worse
you should think about going to your dr as
it could be a U.T.I. or it could be normal
and it might help to ease your mind. I
agree, try to put your legs up and try to
relax. If your hubby(Nick, I believe his
name is) can help you with Finn and maybe
order dinner in for tonight. I hope
everything gets better for you!

Oh man B! I'm sure all is ok. Don't be
scared! (yea right! right? lol!)
My Dr. told me that my body was just a
little confused when I told him I Had
spotting (which I never had for Oni). THe
spotting occurred when my period would
have been due.
I hope your Dr. says the same!!

ended up squeezing me in for an ultrasound
and the baby is measuring perfectly with a
heartrate of 171. i got some pictures but
our scanner isn't hooked up and there's
not much to see anyway, just a blobby
baby.
thanks everyone! i'm going to try to relax
from here on out... we'll see if i can
handle that!

Is there any way Nick can get it set up?
We'd really love to see them!
We don't own a scanner at all. We have to
beg a friend to scan our stuff for us.
