Is There Something In My Throat? Posted: 09-01-07 17:13pm
Well I just got back from the E.R. room
which was of absolutely no help to me AT
ALL. (Especially since I paid $400 out of
my pocket since I have no insurance)
Well anyways they said it may be a
"virus"..
Whenever I yawn or move my adams apple too
much downwards it feels like there is
something poking my throat...
It's the kind of feeling you get when you
accidentally swallow a potato chip without
chewing... I can drink water and eat
fine... But whenever I yawn or have too
much movement where my adams apple is it
hurts!
Any ideas...?

Did they not insert a probe into your
throat to explore? This instrutment
usually has a small light on it. Try
eating some bread, if there IS anything
stuck in there, it will get dislodged by
the white bread. I would get a copy of the
ER report if this continues in order to
take to a ear , nose and throat specialist
in the event it does not get better. I'd
hope it might not be some sort of growth,.
But if this sould be hte case, you'll have
areport from the ER telling you nothing
was wrong......."WRONGFUL
SUIT??????????Hope everything goes well
for oyu!

No they tested me for some stupid strep
throat... Turned out that I have nothing
but a "possible" virus...

Hey Scott, it could also be hony that you
have infection built up in htere, not the
strep type that lines you throat. Have you
tried garggling with peroxide and water?
This is suppose to kill infection/viral
crap in your throat. Like I said, give it
a few days and if it still feel like yo
uahve something in your throat, go and
have it looked at by an era, nose throat
specailit e!

own. I kind of felt sinusey. Has it gone
away yet?
