Are U More Fertile In the First 6 Months After a Pregnancy? Posted: 09-02-07 00:51am
I had my son in the middle of may 2007,
and I bled for about a month afterword
and, as I was told, that was normal. Well
I got my first actual period on July 29th.
I went to visit my husband who lives out
of town currently and we slept together on
August 5 and august 7th. It is now Sept
1st and I have yet to have another period.
I've heard that you are more fertile right
after pregnancy because your body is still
in "prego" mode. Is that true? Or could my
period just be screwy, since i only
delivered four months ago?
One thing I remember about being pregnant
was how sore my breast were, they're not
really sore at all now. And I didnt get
morning sickness until exactly a month
after my son was concieved, but I have
been feeling unusually queezy, and very
tired. Like I said b4, No bleeding, but i
seem to be producing a lot of creamy
white, CM ( i think thats the term used
here, sorry im not really up on the
lingo)and every time it comes out i rush
to the bathroom expecting to find i got my
AF, but i havent. I've been very congested
and constipated as well. But the
sleepyness could be from taking care of a
new born (even though he sleeps through
the night every night) and the congestion
from allergies. I dunno maybe im just
psyching myself out or something, it's
just weird... I feel the exact same way I
did this time last year when I was prego.
I just can tell if thats due to seasonal
illness or im in the same situation as b4!
Ohhhh I took a test ehh maybe a week to a
week and a half ago and it was neg ( I
cant really remember exactly when i took
it.) Last time, for my son, he was
concieved on Sept 9th and I took the
positive prg test on Oct 9th. Any thoughts
are welcomed! PLEASE!

I had my son 4 months ago and I am now 11
days late.. but a friend of mine had her
girl a month before I had my son and she
was a week late last month and was not
pregnant.. Also, after my sister had her
second child she only got her period twice
in a matter of 9 months.. So there is the
chance you are, but it could also be your
body.. Those are some of the answers I
received on my posts.. The only thing I
guess I can really say is to see your
doctor, he will know for sure.. I am going
Monday to see mine to see if I am pregnant
or if it is just my body being weird..
