I changed pills about three weeks ago
because of break through bleeding I am
having break through bleeding again, sharp
pains in the bottom of my stomach and my
breasts are very tender.
You can’t be sure if the birth control
pills caused the spotting or something
else. All birth control pills contain the
same or similar hormones. Functional
spotting could be a side effect from birth
control pills or could also be caused by
organic reasons such as infections or
tumors. You SHOULD consult a gynecologist
about this in order to exclude the
possibility of a tumor or infection first,
and to diagnose the break through
bleeding.
