Positive, Neg, Neg?? Am I Pregnant? Posted: 09-02-07 07:43am
Okay after my last post, I've taken 3
tests... the first was positive, then neg,
then another neg.. what should I do?

HMM thats a good question. Do you have any
more tests? The first one could have been
a false posative.

the only way the first one was a false
positive is if you have a problem or if
you klet it sit for too long and got an
evap line
how long did you let it sit before the
positive showed up?
chances are you ARE pregnant
false positives are rare
you should go get a blood test done

false positive don't usually happen, so i
reckon you are pregnant. but go to the
doctors and have a blood test as they are
more sensitive.

If I were you I would just assume that
your pregnany and go get a blood test to
just be sure.

You should probably see the doctor and get
a blood test done. It can also be a sign
of a chemical pregnancy (very early
miscarriage) if your hormone levels aren't
going up correctly. Did you get the
negative results the same day as the
positive test or a few days later?
Early on, you need concentrated urine
and/or first morning urine to trigger a
positive result. If you keep testing the
same day after drinking fluids and your
urine is more dilute & clear, there
may not be enough hormone built up to
trigger a positive test.
I'd test again in the morning using first
morning urine and see what happens.

Just wanted to agree with the previous
poster - I had a suspected chemical
pregnancy one time and I also had a
positive test followed very quickly by
negative ones.
