Ok im having my first baby, and
miscarriages run in my family. Im scared
of loosing my child yet I dont want to
worry about everything....Casue I never
went through this before. I have been
having tiny cramps here and there, but are
never really sure if they are just having
to go to the bathroom cramps or if
somethings wrong. Also I was wonderin
ghow far along you have to be before its
noticeable. I jus found out a week ago im
pregnant and they told me its at the
begining stages casue im swollen but I
still have to go to the obgyn....So we
will see. Just curious..

Hey shan,
first off congratulations on your little
angel! I'm sure you're overjoyed and a
bit overwhelmed at the same time...I know
I was! As for the likelyhood of a
miscarriage, I would definitely take it
easy for at least the first month or
two...Try not to over exert urself,
especially in the first trimester...Thats
when ur baby needs the most and is also in
the "danger zone"....Try to get enough
sleep, eat well and healthy...And try to
relax...Cramps are definitely normal in
the first stages because everythings
moving around and stretching, and also the
hormones are affecting things...As long as
the cramping isnt unbarable and isnt
accompanied with bleeding...Everything
should be fine...But if u have any worries
or doubts dont hesitate to call ur dr, or
even go to the er, because thats what
they're there for....To make sure ur ok!
Best of luck with ur pregnancy...Hope all
goes well!
