Pain a Year After Chin Implant Surgery Posted: 09-04-07 12:20pm
The chin implant surgery was done 16
months ago. When I returned twice
afterwards to discuss the numbness on my
left side of the implant the doctor said
it would eventually get better. The
numbness after over a year has finally
mostly subsided but has been replaced by
constant pain and a burning sensation. I
read somewhere else that he probably cut a
nerve. I refuse to go back to him to have
anything else done. I've been considering
a lower facelift or even botox or juvederm
injections but I'm afraid it would further
add to my pain. Has anyone else
experienced this or know what it is?
