Okay so it's my first time on this site
and I normally wouldn't be doing this but
my boyfriend is having a major problem
with adderall and I have no idea how to
help him. He's tried quitting it many
times and he has always gone back on it.
He says he need it in order to function
and get things done! Here's the thing
though...he doesn't just swallow it..he
chops it up into a very fine powder and
snorts it! I've repeatedly told him to
stop and he does for a little while and
then just goes back to it. This past
weekend he took so much of it that he
wasn't able to do anything all day. He was
weak and it took 24 hours for his pulse to
get to a normal rate. I told him that I
was going to take it away from him and I
did and he is very upset with me right now
but I feel that I did the right thing. I
was so scared for him that it was my first
reaction. Did I do the right thing? And
how can I get him help to get off the
adderall? How can I help him help himself?
