ok the thing is I just started birth
control for the first time. I was told by
the pharmacist that I should take it
within the first three to five days of my
cycle. and already my cycle was two weeks
late. so the day i got it I tool the pill
at 8 pm and now i hardly have a period. Is
this dangerous? and will I suffer later on
in life?

I think you posted this elsewhere.
You cannot hurt yourself by taking
hormones your body already has, in doses
this low.
I'm assuming you weren't worrying about
pregnancy with the late-period comment...
It is not dangerous to start the pills no
matter when you do it.

I always thought you had to take the pill
on the first day of your period??

Nope. It's advised because that means it
is immediately effective, but you could
start on any day of your cycle.
