Jaw implants, chin reduction and rhinoplasty ?
Posted: 09-06-07 02:33am

http: //img479.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1545cc vf12rz3.jpg

On top it's the real me, the bottom was adjusted in photoshop(I'm not vry experienced with it and the pic is not the best sorry).
So basically jaw implants, chin reduction and rhinoplasty Confused are what I'm looking for.
How close can I get to look like the bottom pic trough those procedures?
How much would it cost?

I'm really not happy with the way my lower face looks like Sad if I could get that done or at least something similar it would improve my face and self esteem a lot..

ummm....wow, are you serious?

For starters, I wouldn't consider jaw implants, because they look phony and as you age, they will fall out of place. A rhinoplasty will probably run you about $8,000-$10,000 after hospital bills. Chin reduction is the same price.

So you are looking at about $20,000, if you exclude the jaw implants.

This is my advice...

#1 You already have a feminate looking nose. I would just leave the nose as it is.

#2 You don't have much cheekbone definition. I would be more concerned with that.

#3 How is your bite? If you have an overbite, there is something called ornothogical surgery, but it's expensive. It will make your jaw look stronger, but is about $20,000. I hear they do it in costa rica for about $8,000. The best thing you could have probably done, was increase your testosterone levels during puberty to extreme amounts. This would of given you a much stronger jaw, even if it wasnt in your gene pool.

I use to have a jaw, myself, but bruxism took that away from me. Twisted Evil

Thanks for replying. I'd like to have stronger cheek bones as well but the thing I want the most is a stronger jaw, I think that alone would add a lot to my face, nose and chin would be optional. I don't think I have an overbite, all my teeth seem to sit in the right place except for the central incisors but I think many ppl's teeth are that way.
Someone told me about testosterone and steroids before, they said I may still have a chance to change the jaw a bit since some ppl still grow until 25 but very slowly. I'll probably try that first..

Hi!
U have 2 options
Jaw surgery - People who have an open bite or under or over bite are medical candidates for this. You should get a referral from your dentist to see an orthodontic surgeon at a hospital.
Secondly you can enhance the lower face with man made implants. These are allegedly good- as if u are unhappy they can be taken out and a new shape one put in.
I would advise you to seek professional advice from surgeons who are specialist in their field. Then u can make an informed decision.
Also u should bear in mind - Jaw surgery is irreversible but implants and cosmetic surgery can be reversed.
You could improve the lower face with implants and chin implants and moth fillers etc. Also the fat can easily be taken out of the inside of cheeks to give a more sculptured look!
