Here's mine, it was painful. I have a few
more also.
I was out in the backyard having a smoke,
looking around, ya know, doing the animal
thing, when I decide to take a left turn,
I go a few steps in that direction when
all of a sudden something incredibly
eerie(and painful) happens.
I get shocked out of nowhere, it was a
fairly intense jolt of what felt like
electricity, i've been shocked before and
that's exactly what it felt like, damn it
was surprising and painful. However, the
eerie part is that exactly when I was
shocked a face made out of this neonish
bluish whitish light appeared directly in
front of my face. It resembled a vampire.
This face had sharp teeth, not all of
them, like a vampires sharp teeth. And it
was smiling a rather menacing smile. It
was a slendor face, a very commanding and
powerful and slick look to it. And as soon
as it appeared it was gone. It really
freaking hurt. So, you can probably tell
by the way I am explaining this that I
don't know what it was or what it was
about, or why it happened. Perhaps
someone would care to shed some light on

My most paranormal experience aside from
reading shape cards and the like, was
witnessing Ball Lightening.
This is a phenomenon not many people
actually know about. It's one of those
things that's supposed to be impossible. I
swear I've seen something.
Ball lightening is just that: a ball of
lightening. It looks like a glowing ball
of light and normally lasts 2-4 seconds.
It can move. It can change direction.
The part that terrified me (thank you
Discovery Channel ) is that
supposedly, ball lightening can go through
glass windows and the like. It doesn't
ignite on random things like couches, but
it if touches human flesh, you immediately
combust - the show was offering ball
lightening as one of the many explanations
for internal combustion.
Anyway, as creepy schit like that scares
me (as do ghosts, which I also don't
believe in) seeing the glowing ball drift
up the driveway during a thunderstorm
terrified me. It even had a reflection in
a puddle, so I know it wasn't something
high in the air reflecting into the
puddle; it was visually clearly a few feet
off of the ground.
It scares me to this day. I hate that
stuff!!

I don't know if I've posted this before,
but if I have oh well.
A few years ago my cousins brother in law
died unexpectidly. He was confined to a
wheel chair and had spinabifida, but was
overall really healthy. He had just gotten
back from mayo a week later (i think
that's what it's called, to see if he had
any health problems?) and one night we
were all watching the butterfly effect,
and we got a call at 12:01 am saying that
Justin had just died. Anyway, the night
was awful and i was left alone with
triplets and a scared 9 year old, while I
was scared out of my wits.
A few weeks later, the family had gotten
together, justins dad had taken justins
cellphone, taken the battery out and put
it on the shelf in his bedroom, completely
off. A while later, he was sitting outside
and his dads phone rang, and on the caller
id it said "justins cell" i dont know, but
that's creepy to me. He went upstairs and
justins cellphone was still sitting on the
shelf, battery out and all.

agathe, I have not had any odd experiences
for quite sometime. Our ghost is
apparently appeased by the sacrifices of
bananas and peanut butter with dog hair we
leave at the top of the attic steps every
13 days.
That is one bizarre experience you
described! Start wearing garlic?
Eiri, if you don't believe in ghosts how
can you be afraid of them?

my mom was camping once and she actually
saw it and it was headed for her tent.

The fear of the unknown my friend lol.
I am also afraid of the IDEA of them
existing. As a kid, I always had to have
the covers up to my chin, otherwise ghosts
might come in through your body and kill
you.
I don't like the idea of possession or of
not being in control. I don't like the
idea of a malicious, harmful INVISIBLE
thing. It just scares me.
IDK if any of you have heard of this but
it's the "hornet Spooklight" or the
"Joplin Spooklight" in Hornet, MO or
Joplin, MO. It's actually where MO, OK,
and AK borders meet. anyways
there's a road out in the country..
and it's popular among the "parking"
crew...
and there is said to be a ball of light
that travels up and down the road
it changes colors and floats....it'll go
in and out of cars but it never harms
anyone..
I have seen it!
lol..
it didn't ever come in our car but i've
seen it float over the hill at the end of
the road..
it didn't really scare me..
but it was pretty neat =)

I'm definitely a skeptic so you can just
ignore this if you want. I don't mean to
burst anyone's bubble or make you feel
like I don't believe you.
But if you were shocked (which that I
can't explain, any loose wires in your
yard? eek... ) then it is
probable that you would experience visual
symptoms- your brain can do any number of
crazy things when unusual electricity
flows through it. And you probably saw an
image because our brains have this amazing
ability to make meaning out of nothing
(gestalt, anyone?)
The fact that you were randomly shocked in
your yard worries me. The fact that you
saw something as a byproduct of being
shocked seems natural.

No loose wires man. I was on concrete and
there was nothing on it. It worries me
to. It seemed the opposite way around,
not the shock causing the face but the
face causing the shock.

I remember when I smoked weed, for the
very first time, and I got really stoned
and went to bed, as I got into bed I saw
this man sitting at the end of the bed, No
it wasn't hubby LOL..It scared the
crappers outs me..I put my head into the
pillow hoping it would be gone, but NO it
was still there..I was petrified..I yelled
for Hubbs, and he came in turned the light
on and VAMOOOOOSE it or he was gone..

My cat is very calm and friendly and
enjoys sleeping. However, twice (always
right after I wake up) he suddenly freaked
out, being in those defensive position
cats have (round pupil, claws out, etc)
and started to make those whistle at me:
"SSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
At both times he did that, something awful
happened, usually a few hours later. First
time: my grandfather died of a heart
attack. Second time: My sister got injured
in a double-crossing car accident.
Of course I'm sceptikal about the
coincidence, but since then I still look
to the ending of my bed to see if the
cat's quietly asleep or not... hoping he's
idle.
