You would actually only count 38 weeks back from your due date. When you go with a 40 week plan the first two weeks are before ovulation or conception occurs. Ovulationg occurs at the beginning of the third week. I don't think I'm making a lot of sense but you're doctor is right. The growth of your baby wouldn't have been stunted like that. They are all just about the same size in the beginning.

Did everyone notice that she said she was "forced" to have sex???

I think instead of worrying about dates, you need to deal with that issue first.

Ok, was the incident reported? If so, in cases like this, the state may pay for an early paternity tests. There are risks involved. Only you know how you would feel and handle the results. I also think that counseling might be something to look into.

I am very sorry to everyone, I do not quite know how to use this still. I am trying to teach myself. No, unfortunately I did not report the incident. If I do then the "bad one" will know that it is a possibility that he fathered a child... I have also read that you cannot hear a hearbeat until after day 42... If that is the case, then it would have to be the "good one" because I had an ultrasound about 30 days after conception would have occured... Thanks to all who congratulated me. I would be extatic if it is the good one... Still getting used to the fact that it may be the "bad ones"... I hope that I am doing this right in replying...
