Coiled Vein At Base of Penis Posted: 09-07-07 11:04am
i'm 21 years old and i have a vein at the
base of my penis that kind of coils round
instead of going straight like most
people. it's been like that for as long as
i can remember. it doesn't hurt or
anything, it's just embarassing and i
think it looks weird. i've had partners in
the past who said they didnt care about
it, but i was wondering if there was any
way of getting it straightened?
i have a picture too if that would help
but i dont know how to upload

David....it's perfectly normal and not
able to be straightened anyway. If none of
your partners complained about its look
and there's no pain, then it's all good.
Don'y worry so much about it and focus on
having fun. We tend to magnify everything
about our bodies when there is really no
problem.

i beg to differ. i don't think it's normal
at all. it's like a circular lump that
pokes up out the skin and it is especially
visible when erect...
it's rather unsightly and i'd like to get
it fixed

Fine. If the appearance bothers you that
much, see a vascular surgeon to see if
there is something that can be done. I
didn't mean it was normal looking, but if
it causes no pain and you've had so long,
then it's normal for you.
I hope something can be done to correct
