Hello! Any one who may have answers
please reply. Last week I noticed some
sudden changes and did some research on
the intenet and my overall symptoms led me
to beleive I had bacterial vaginosis. On
friday night I experienced the urge to
urinate frequently. The pain was
terrible and would last for a about a
minute everytime when there was hardly
anything to come out. I noticed the last
three times this happend small blood clots
came out and then the urge to urninate
went away. I went through saturday
without this happening but when I woke up
today (sunday) the same thing happend
again. Could I have possilby had bv that
went into a uti or vice versa. I have
never had anything like this before and
just got back normal pap smear last month.
I am taking off of work tomorrow to see
general practioner.....Any suggestions
would be appreciated.

It sounds like a uti, not bv. But, I
suppose that they could both cause the
other, I really don't know. I have never
had blood in my urine, but a lot of people
do when they have a uti. I would
definately see a doctor and get an
antibiotic before it gets any worse or
turns into a kidney infection.
Especially since there is blood involved.
They also have pills that are suppose to
help with the pain. They turn your urine
orange, but that is normal. They have
never helped me at all, but they do help a
lot of people and they are really cheap.
Also drink lots of cranberry juice and
stay away from caffeine to avoid future
infections.

Sounds like it could be cervicitis.
That can be caused by a number of things.
Do you have any cramping, fever, etc?
I had this in jan 2004. I had no
symptoms really. I found out when I
went to the gyn for a bartholin cyst that
I noticed-the infection that caused the
cervicitis caused teh cyst! Health
question...
