Used Condoms Correctly But Fear Pregnancy

My G.F and I had sex for her first time
and used a condom. I pulled out way before
i got off and that was it. Then a week
later we messed around with a condom on.
she was grinding on me and i ended up
getting off in the condom. just a little
bit after that (say a minute i got up
cause i didn't want the condom anywhere
close to us)i took it off i we did oral
sex . Her period is 6 days late and she's
not on b.c..whats my odds of this whole
thing being stress related or her actually
being p.g? she works 30 hours and has 15
credit hours of classes. what do you guys
think. She says its to early to take a
test and she says she isn't worried about
it. I AM THOUGH, and i know she is or she
wouldn't bring it up. Once again we used
the condoms the whole time and the one
time we did have sex i pulled out. I
checked for holes in the condom by using
water and they were o.k. It was her first
time also....

You don't get pregnant from oral sex. if
you used the condom correctly and your
penis didn't go near or enter her vagina
without a condom then your chances are
very very slim. I was one of the small
precentage who got pregnant while using a
condom but if you even checked for holes
afterwards then as i said your chances are
so so slim. periods can be late for so
many reasons

when she was grinding on me i got off but
it was in the condom. when we had sex the
first time i used a lube. I found out that
some of them can damage condoms.. I would
assume that when i checked for holes i
would be able to tell. the lube said
condom safe so that should be good
enough..I should stop freaking out. I KNOW
she is stressed about this and the sudden
change in where she lives with more
classes and more work. that probably
doesn't help....

Young women often have periods that are
not regular. She is more than likely
stressing. If you two are concerned,
please have her take a pregnancy test.
Planned parenthood will test her for
pregnancy FOR FREE and they will also give
you birth control. Also FOR FREE.

we went and got a pregnancy test today and
it came out negative. Reality really sets
in when your buying one of those. I told
her I have made an executive decision not
to have sex anymore until we are closer to
finishing college, she is 22 and i am 22
and i have about 2 more years left. It
would be a complete waste if something
like this happened because I dont think I
would be able to finish and I would need
to finish school to get a good paying job
to take care of the kid.

Did she miss her period? If she hasn't
missed her period, it is too early for a
test.

I am still a little worried even after a
negative on the test ( i know they can be
wrong some times) it should have ended
close to the 10th if not a little before.
she is really worried about it. But not so
much worried about being pregnant now. I
still think its a possibility. Even though
the condoms worked and we were extremely
careful. and I pulled out as well, with
the condom..I wish someone would tell me
the odds are in our favor. right now she
is just worried about why she missed it.
but I think thats making it worse. I have
a day at the spa booked for her to help
her relax a little bit.. I hope that
works. could the stress make it that much
worse.. can she actually miss a month? I
just think that its a bad time to miss
because we actually had sex this month.
But she is more busy than ever before and
its been a stressed filled month because
she works 30-40 hrs a week with 5 classes
(roughly 15 hours) she has never done this
before. Also when she got back from
vacation (before we had sex) I wasn't here
and she was late that month too but only
by about 3 days. since she got back her
diet has changed along with how much sleep
she gets and how active she is.. Can this
happen and not be pregnant? she says she
thinks she about to start but then she
wakes up the next day and hasn't and she
is more worried than the day before.

Her nerves and schedule and her hormones
are messing up her cycle. A lot of women
who change their patterns have 'off' cycle
months. If she didn't have a regularly
scheduled cycle before, she certainly
wouldn't have one now with all the stuff
she has going on.
Relax.
No one can tell you the odds of getting
pregnant using a condom AND pulling out.
There is no concrete statistical data -
besides, every single woman and her cycle
is different.
I know this is scary for you - but,
honestly, the chances (although I don't
know specifically) are so low you need to
just breathe and let it go.
That said, IF she were pregnant at this
moment in time (highly unlikely), there is
nothing you can do about it RIGHT THIS
MINUTE. The only thing you are doing - and
I assume she is also doing - is freaking
out. This is not productive.

her period was due the first wed (5th) of
this month today (thur 13th) we took the
first response pregnancy test in the
morning just after she got up. It came
back negative no sign of a second line at
all. this is the second one she has take.
I heard that it might have been to early
for the first one which we took on monday
(10th) but they said this one would be
more accurate. whats your opinion on this
test?
P.S.... can they really miss a hole month
if there stressed and their cycle is
changing to a different time.. she is 8
days late now. but we are less stressed
because of the tests.

Yes! This often happened to me while I
was in college. I was not having
intercourse and had always been highly
regular while in high school, every 28
days. In college, I started having
periods every other month due to the
stress of mid-terms and finals. At home
over the summer, my cycles would go back
to 28 days.
Also, changes in diet & exercise can
affect the cycle. Especially if she is
dieting and eating too few calories or
doing more exercise than before, that can
change her cycles too. Near the end of my
college years, I lost my periods
completely for over a year due to anorexia
& overexercising. But she doesn't
have to have an eating disorder for it to
mess with her cycles. I've come across
women whose cycles get wacky when they
start eating healthier and exercising even
on a sensible meal plan.
It really doesn't sound like she's
pregnant. Condoms when used correctly and
without breaking are quite good birth
control. After I went off the pill
because of side effects, I used condoms as
my only birth control for over a year and
never got pregnant. I am quite fertile,
too. Once my husband & I started
trying to conceive a baby, I got pregnant
on the second cycle trying (and the first
cycle to have good intercourse timing for
pregnancy).

There are other forms of birth control you
can use IN ADDITION to condoms. Like
spermicide works well with condoms. You
can go to planned parenthood or another
family planning place and they can counsel
you on your birth control options.
I'm glad she started. You must feel very
relieved.

i am glad. she said that it was much
thicker than normal. But then again this
month hasn't been normal. I dont know if
that has anything to do with it. She is
extremely moody!!!! So i guess her
hormones are all messed up. I guess there
isn't a chance of her being pregnant.

Why doesn't she just get on birth control?
Then you guys will have an added layer of
protection and you cans till enjoy sex!
Remember that even if you do decide to
abstain from vagina sex, there is still
mutual masturbation and oral

Using First Response

when do you use first response. some
people say to use it any time after you
period should have started but i am
confused when they say take it the first
day of your missed period. Does that mean
a week after you should have started or
the day you should have started. I ask
because i have seen some places where it
say its more accurate 4+ days after your
expected period and some site saying 4+
after you missed period...
example: if it was going to start on the
7th are they talking about taking it on
the 11th or the 18th? I know the 18th
would work too but I am confused. the
first response site said 4+ after your
expected period.

It has been 1 month since her missed
period. If she were pregnant, a pregnancy
test would have been positive by now.
If her period would have started on the
7th - count 4 days (so the 11th) for most
accuracy.
