Q: Late Period, Next Ovulation

My husband and I are ttc and this past month, my period was 1 1/2 weeks late (probably stress related). I had a Dr. appt scheduled but cancelled because my period finally arrived. I have a 32 day cycle and my last mp was on July 29. My question is, will I still ovulate at the normal time or will the late period affect it? I don't want to spend a lot of money on the ovulation test kits, I usually get the one that monitors for 7 days, so I want to make sure I use it around the right time. Thanks for the help!
