My daughter had surgery when she was 16
year old. Last february 2003 she again
had the surgery to losen up her stomach
wrap. Unfortunately, she is again
showing signs of inability to swallow.
She has had the balloon dilation 3 times
since the surgery. Doctors in houston
are baffled and say they are at the end of
their ideas. She has a lot of scar
tissue from the first surgery. It was
suggested we go to the cleveland clinic
for help. Any suggestions, she is only
28 years old. I am very frightened of
what lies ahead for her with so little
choices. I am told her esophogus is very
thin as it is and the doctors are
concerned of ripping (she had a small rip
after this second surgery that was able to
close by high doses of antibiotics. Any
info would be appreciated.
