Monday was my anniversary, but I got off
work late and that ruined Darren's
surprise dinner reservations he had made
for me at this restraunt I have been
wanting to go to for a really long time.
We
went out for sushi instead, then picked up
the kids and went home to put them to bed.
Kinda low key, but it was really nice.
Thirteen years has really flown by!

Happy anniversary!! 13 years, wow.
I'm sorry you missed out on going to that
restaurant that would really
bum me out! But sushi sounds awesome (I'm
a sushi fiend) and I'm glad everything
worked out!
We went to Outback for our 3rd
anniversary, and spent most of it trying
to keep Alyvia from eating the cardboard
coasters. It wasn't very romantic.

THANKS! The sushi was awesome. I love
it.
We don't eat at restraunts wiht our
children very often right now. Geneva is
pretty good about it, but Hannah just
wants to get down and annoy others at this
point. Walking is pretty exciting for
her. It's not fair to them to expect them
to sit while we enjoy a nice relaxing
meal!

Thankfully Alyvia doesn't try to escape
the high chair yet. But she is really
curious. We took her to this hot wing
place once (our first time there as well)
and when the waitress came to take our
order, she laid her order pad on the
table. Well, it had a pocket on the side
that held the money (I guess so she can
just deal out change right on the spot?)
and Alyvia reached forward and grabbed a
$20 bill! The waitress laughed and took it
back from her, and Alyvia kind of gave her
a "that
was mine" face. She didn't cry, but she
stared the woman down after that and
wouldn't smile for her.

Wow! 13 years, congrats!
Maybe this year I can talk DH into letting
my parents or someone watch Adriana so we
can have dinner out alone. Last year she
was with us, which we like....but it's
also nice to relax and have a quiet
dinner.
