Do You Start Early, Late, Or Right On Time?
Posted: 09-12-07 14:25pm

Has anyone on Ortho had the experience of starting their period 5 or 6 days earlier than usual?

During my last period I started early as well, with lighter discharge/bleeding and then a normal period closer to my usual time. This time appears to be the same, but starting even earlier.

I have been on Ortho for six years, and am religious about taking it (every morning at 8:30AM). I'm so programmed that I occasionally wake up with my alarm, take it, go back to sleep, and don't even remember doing so. Past boyfriends have been amazed.

The only things that have changed in the last few weeks are some new pills (Zoloft, Xanax, Pindolol), which I am taking for an anxiety disorder and panic attacks. I'll admit that I'm a stress case-- but I usually start a couple days late, if anything.

Is starting this early just par for the course with BC? Confused

Seems normal, especially considering your new prescriptions.

Lol about the alarm- I do that too. I take pills in my sleep because I take them at 7:30 and I only wake up that early 4 days out of the week....

Hahaha... exactly.

I realized early on that if I took them in the afternoon, I'd inevitably either forget to have my alarm or my pills on me. Taking them and then falling back asleep works perfectly. Very
