So.....last night I was having some pretty strong/regular contractions. They were about every 3-5 minutes. After having them for about an hour I called the hospital to see if I should come up there. They told me to take some tylenol and if I still had contractions after that then to come up. Well......after about 2 1/2 hours of regular contractions they went away. Im bummed. I was really hoping it was the real thing. I mean, they were some pretty strong contractions. Ive never had them like that b4, and now I know what they really feel like. I will be 40 weeks friday, could the contractions I had last night mean that just maybe the real thing could be coming soon? I have an appt. monday @ the hospital to be induced if my little one isnt here b4 then. What do yall think?

It was probably false labor. Which BLOWS! There are plenty of things to separate the two. (false labor & true labor). I'm not 100% sure what they all are, but try googling "true labor vs. false labor" and I'm SURE you'll get the difference!!

I'm sure it's the baba prepping to come out!! HOW EXCITINGGGG!!

Relax. Drink plenty water. SLEEEEP! You'll be holding your baby in less than a weeeek!

yah after they stopped i realized they were false. Its just soo crazy how they can hurt like that and last/be consistent for about 2 hours and not be the real thing. Who knows, maybe she'll decide to come on her due date. My dr. did strip my membranes yesterday monring at my appt.
