Doesn't it feel sooooooooooo free to have
the braces off? That's great Dyan. Is
your mouth getting used to it yet? Will
you be wearing a splint of some sort?
Again, I know how great it feels not to
have metal in your mouth. Enjoy it!
God bless...

P.S. What happened to the posting
regarding the painful sternum, or
something like that? I was going to tell
him that my sternum is also sensitive.
It's all connected with the muscles into
the shoulder and neck, and then into the
jaw. Swallowing is one problem very
connected also. There are also nodes and
trigger points all in that area. Good
massage works great. Sometimes I have to
remind the therapist that my front needs a
little work also from the jaw line down to
the collar bone to the top of the breast
plate (and no, not the breasts). Oh well.
Can you pass it on if you see him?
Thanks.

Hey Posted: 09-14-07 12:12pm
i moved the sternum one to back pain. it
seemed more relevant there and i know hed
get more answers there.
Im getting used to not having anything in
my mouth. Im having a hard time talking. i
dont know what do do with my upper lip!
the brace wasnt like your normal braces.
they were simple strips of metal with
hooks all around. And no--i dont have to
wear a splint or anything of the sort
anymore. Im free of stuff in my mouth for
the first time in 15+ years. yippee!
