Q: Oh No...braxton Hicks?!

ok so im 27 weeks today and i was just wondering if anyone ever started to have braxton hicks around 27 weeks? i *think* thats what im expieriencing but im not 100% sure...
its not a huge pain...its not in my back...its like someone with really big hands is grabbing and squeezing me around the waist line and my lower abdomen gets really tight...and then it stops like 6 seconds later

That sounds like a BH to me. I had them for what seemed like my entire pregnancy. You really need to keep track of them and go to your doc if you have too many. You may want to call your doc's office to see how many they think is appropriate.

i just called my doctor and she said if they start getting stronger and lasting longer each time and they get close together to go in. she says i shouldnt have more than 4-5 in an hour and they shouldnt be lasting for more than 10-15 seconds each

I started getting them around 20 weeks so I know what you are going through. They aren't fun.

i reckon i have been having BH since around 20 weeks also.

Mine arnt regular, some days i wont have one at all then others they happen every once in a while.

Someone said to keep up with the water and keep well hydrated!
