Oh No...braxton Hicks?! Posted: 09-14-07 11:21am
ok so im 27 weeks today and i was just
wondering if anyone ever started to have
braxton hicks around 27 weeks? i *think*
thats what im expieriencing but im not
100% sure...
its not a huge pain...its not in my
back...its like someone with really big
hands is grabbing and squeezing me around
the waist line and my lower abdomen gets
really tight...and then it stops like 6
seconds later

That sounds like a BH to me. I had them
for what seemed like my entire pregnancy.
You really need to keep track of them and
go to your doc if you have too many. You
may want to call your doc's office to see
how many they think is appropriate.

i just called my doctor and she said if
they start getting stronger and lasting
longer each time and they get close
together to go in. she says i shouldnt
have more than 4-5 in an hour and they
shouldnt be lasting for more than 10-15
seconds each
thanks for the advice! they suck!

I started getting them around 20 weeks so
I know what you are going through. They
aren't fun.
