Vets Bills And Gender Confusion
Posted: 09-15-07 08:09am

Ok, so I got a new kitty a couple weeks ago, 8 weeks old, male, black and white. Very shy and nervous, but so so cute. I made the vets appointment for vaccinations and healthcheck and I've been getting kitty used to the house and me, playing, cuddling etc. And I decided to call him Whisky.

I took Whisky to the vets today, and it was all going fine, and the vet was checking him over etc and, after checking his bits, he said to me 'is it definitely a boy?'. I said yeh, cuz thats what the woman at the shelter had told us and she would've known. He went and got the nurse for a second opinion and she agreed...my cat is now a girl!

I still can't quite get my head around it, because I've grown used to saying 'good boy' lol.

They can have both genders? Wow, how odd.

No, she wasn't neutered/spayed or anything as it's too early to do that right now.

Haha, she's so hyper, she's running around crazily at this moment lol
