Posted: 09-15-07 09:29am

A year ago i had a miscarriage right after i found out i was pregnant. I dont kno why or how I just know I did. I had got pregnant while on the pill. So after the miscarriage I started the shot is it possible for me to get pregnant while on the shot just wondering. Because some one told me Im fertilized because I was pregnant once before.

You're "fertilized"? What's that's supposed to mean!? Confused Bull honkey.

Females who have hit puberty and beyond are fertile - aka, capable of becoming pregnant - every single month on a normal cycle.

Being pregnant in the past does not increase your chances of becoming pregnant a second time. The word "fertilized" in reference to humans literally means that you are... pregnant. I don't think your friend mean that "You're pregnant because you were pregnant once before". They may have thought that becoming pregnant makes you more fertile but that's not true either.

Yes, it is possible to become pregnant no matter what kind of contraception is used, aside from a total hysterectomy.

Well, Depo Provera (the shot) is very, very effective so I wouldn't worry Smile Most pregnancies on the pill occur due to human error, and there's no shame in that. We've all missed a pill, skipped a dose, etc. Depo cuts out the chance for human error and so it is much more effective.

14 years old and already been pregnant/on birth control.
If your peers are telling you ridiculous, misunderstood things like that, and you don't know any better than to believe them, you are not ready to be having sex.

I fear for the future.

I'm not trying to be mean, society just makes me sad. Crying
or Very sad Kids behaviors are beyond their maturity levels... 13/14 year olds should be having fun, not worrying about getting pregnant.
