I am a straight male. I am pretty good
with protecting myself with intercourse
but I am worried about herpes and
syphilis. From the first time I was
sexually active at 17 to now 26 I noticed
I have kissed a lot of females and I have
only received oral sex 5 times
unprotected. All my hiv test up to now are
all negative. I've never had to my
knowledge any herpes outbreak in my
genital area or around my mouth (small
painful blister legion bumps) never had
that happen but sometimes in my mouth when
I am stressed I'll get one sore and it is
painful but it is only when I'm stressed.
And the kissing. I was reading that you
can get syphilis from kissing. Up till now
no signs of syphilis. (Brown painless
bump). No signs of syphilis in mouth or
genitals. Could I have it woth no
symptoms? I want to get test because I
really can't say with 100% accurately I
have it or not. And what is a good waiting
period from possible exposure to get
testing for both of these. Need advice
