Q: Stripping Membranes..

i have seen a lot of you guys talk about your Dr's doing this, do most Dr's do it? did you have to ask or did they? none of my Dr's have ever mentioned it, i will be 39 weeks in a couple days and i want my baby to come!

my doctor didnt do it till i was 40 weeks... i think... it didnt help the first 2 times.. but the 3rd times the charm... my doc thought he broke my water abit so igot sent to the hospital but i was fine, it brought on contractions that i couldnt feel... that night i went into labour and had him the next night

usually it's not done untill your are 40 weeks or more. I had mine done twice and didn't go into labour, bubs come when they want to

i had mine done at 38 weeks with my first 2 pregnancies but that was because i begged Embarassed

they usually don't do it until your are over due

ok, i was just wondering because it seems like some peoples Dr's do it starting at like 37 weeks. i just hope she comes on her own and very soon! i have an appt today so hopefully i have progressed some more!

haha! becky you naughty girl you! Wink i was close to beggin but knew i had to do all of my exams first and then the cheeky girl stayed in for an extra 11 days Laughing

if she doesn't come by my 40 week appt i might ask! but my Dr thinks it could be anytime... hoepfully he is right! i am 3cm and 80% and she is at
-1 stage... so that is pretty good! i would go nuts if she was 11 days late!
