Hi,
My periods are so light that it can barely
even be considered getting your period...i
only bleed a little bit and it pretty much
stops completely by mid day...maybe i
should be grateful its not heavy but im
not sure its very normal...what the heck??
I was on birth control for years, and i
remember my periods being very heavy when
i was younger, pre-birth control...ever
since they have been light. I just stopped
taking birth control a couple months ago.

The same thing happened to me. I had
heavy periods pre-pill and after stopping
the pill, they stayed light for a year,
they got maybe a bit heavier towards the
end of the year, but not much. The good
news is if you are trying for a baby with
these light periods is they don't
necessary make it hard to conceive. I was
able to get pregnant on the 2nd cycle
trying.

Birth control (especially when taken for a
long time) can reduce your periods and it
might take a while for your body to
normalize again.
Of course, it could be other things too--
are you eating enough? Are you in good
health? If you are, it's probably from the
bcps. If you're concerned, you can bring
it up at your next annual, but I'd just
enjoy it for now.
