Jenny's First Day..

... of nursery! Smile

I found an awesome nursery that had lots of places available for under 1s because they've only just opened a new baby section there.. so at the moment there's only two other babies I think & the rest of the children are older.

So she went today & she loooooved it! She didn't cry once (of course.. she's a lil bugger for me but great for anyone else!) & liked being around other children. I'm so happy I found her a place at such a nice nursery.. they have a big tropical fish tank & a rabbit hutch outside with two biiiiig fluffy bunnies in it, & everything's so bright & colourful.. I just love it! The nursery is named after Mrs Tiggywinkle, from the Beatrix Potter books, which I grew up with. It's awesome Mr.

It's such a huge weight off the shoulders to know that you have found a place to have your kids go where they will have fun and be safe. I bet she's going to love it.

Congrats

I grew up with those books too. My oupa use to read me a story from them every night.

I'm glad Jenny liked nursery, Rowan is starting to warm up to hers. She'll be playing when I walk in and as soon as she sees me she starts to bounce and bawl and reach for me or crawl towards me. It makes me sad but wonder why she was happy playing a second before. But then she's all cuddly and sucky and I love it because normally she is too busy busy to cuddle with me!

I'm glad your daycare experience was good from the get go. I bawled leaving Rowan there in the first week. I also sit there putting off going to class to sit with her a little longer... and spy on her through the window on the door between classes, even if I have to pee really badly and I only have time to either run to the bathroom or daycare. : )

Tanya, that's so sweet.. Jenny's nursery isn't anywhere near my college so I can't go visit her on my breaks Sad So far when I've picked her up she hasn't made a fuss or anything.. all I get is a big grin & maybe a wave.. she really likes the ladies there so I guess it's a good thing.
