Help! Depo Provera / Birth Control Pils Yasmin ! Posted: 09-17-07 22:55pm
I was on Depo Provera for about a year and
I have just recently got off. My last shot
was given July 2 and my next appointment
for the shot was scheduled for Sept. 24. I
cancelled it and the doctor put me on BCP
(Yasmin). He told me I would be protected
against pregnancy until the 24th. I was
just wondering if this was true. The
Yasmin couldn't make the Depo ineffective
could it? I've been trying to get this
question answered for a long time and I
haven't had an answer yet. Please answer!

I think the doctor meant that if you
didn't start the Yasmin, you would be safe
until the 24th. If you haven't started
Yasmin, that's probably the day you should
start taking them
